Lauren Suttell is the founder of LJ Aesthetics Medicine. She is a board certified Advanced Registered Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, she received both her bachelors in science of nursing (BSN) as well as her Master of science in nursing (MSN) at the University of South Florida. With 12 years of experience as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, she has learned the value in taking the time to accurately assess and educate patients to provide the most individualized experience possible. Her true passion has always been her love for aesthetic medicine and focuses on enhancing a patient’s natural beauty. She devotes her time to listening to each patient’s aesthetic goals and performing comprehensive facial analysis in order to provide the most beautifully natural results. She maintains safe medicine practices and successful injection techniques while continuing to advance her knowledge through participation in medical associations and aesthetic education conferences.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their two labrador retrievers, Jackson and Sophie. They love boating, traveling, and spending time with their friends.

Dr. Connie Leal is a cosmetic dentist and aesthetic injector who blends her expertise and creativity to enhance her patients’ lives with natural-looking results. With a doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Buffalo Dental school, she has mastered facial anatomy and aesthetic technique. Originally from Mexico City, Dr. Connie leans into her multicultural background to perfect her ability to achieve the most natural results across multiple patient ethnicities. As a bilingual provider, Dr. Connie brings seamless care to all of her patients. When she isn’t caring for patients, she finds joy into spending time with her husband and young daughter, Nora, and indulges in her passion for food, dining across Tampa Bay and experimenting in their family kitchen.

Alexa Gomez is a Nurse Practitioner at LJ Aesthetics, where she merges her healthcare expertise with her passion for aesthetic medicine to deliver natural, personalized results. Board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Alexa earned her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from the University of South Florida in May 2024. With over seven years of experience in pediatric and adult hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant, she’s developed a strong foundation in patient care, emphasizing active listening, rapport-building, and crafting customized treatment plans.

Originally from Philadelphia, Alexa moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2019 and is proud to call it home. She’s always been drawn to aesthetic medicine, where she can combine her creative side with her medical expertise to enhance her patients' natural beauty. Alexa is dedicated to providing safe, effective treatments and has participated in numerous safety committees throughout her career to ensure the highest standards of care. Her approach is rooted in patient education, helping individuals feel empowered and informed about their treatment options.

When she’s not working, Alexa enjoys exploring new coffee shops, taking walks, and watching the sunrise. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Blake, and they enjoy trying new restaurants and exploring everything Florida has to offer.

Kristie is your friendly neighborhood skincare expert with over 20 years of experience turning skin goals into reality. As a clinical aesthetician she's mastered the art of blending science with a personal touch to deliver customized treatments that leave her clients glowing-inside and out.

From her early days in the corporate world to discovering her true passion for skincare, Kristie's career has been a journey of transformation. Her shift into medical aesthetics was fueled by a desire to combine her problem-solving skills with her love for helping people feel their best. This dedication led her to specialize in advanced techniques like microneedling, chemical peels, Hydrafacials and personalized skincare programs using transformative medical grade skincare.

Kristie's unique blend of experience and hands-on expertise ensures that each treatment is both effective and enjoyable.

Outside the spa, she loves spending time with her family, pilates and enjoying all the sunshine Tampa has to offer.

Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Brandy McClarin is a true local with a deep appreciation for community and connection. As a Patient Care Coordinator at LJ Aesthetics Medicine—and a patient herself—Brandy understands firsthand what makes the LJ experience so special.

Brandy’s passion for helping others shines through in every interaction. She thrives on building meaningful relationships, listening closely to patients’ needs, and ensuring every detail of their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care make patients feel instantly at ease.

Brandy has been happily married to her husband, Ron, for 24 years, and together they are proud parents to two daughters currently attending the University of Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, gardening, and staying active.

Brandy believes in balance, self-care, and living a fulfilled lifestyle. She is truly passionate about LJ Aesthetics Medicine and the positive impact it has on patients’ confidence and well-being. She is honored to be part of the LJ team and looks forward to supporting each patient on their journey toward feeling refreshed, confident, and empowered.
